Students, faculty, and staff of Tubod College attended a symposium focused on the laws related to student safety and anti-violence, including the Safe Spaces Act of 2019 (RA No. 11313), the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 ( RA No. 10627), the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 (RA No. 7877), and the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA No. 9165), as well as crisis management.

This symposium aimed to deepen each individual’s understanding of bullying and harassment, highlighting what actions are forbidden, the legal penalties involved, and steps they can take if they encounter or witness such issues.

A key part of the discussion was crisis management, especially how to respond during emergencies. The talk covered earthquake preparedness, emphasising the importance of staying calm, knowing safe locations, and following safety protocols before, during, and after an earthquake.

A Q&A segment also took place, where attendees shared their concerns, insights, and experiences. The symposium was divided into different sessions led by PNP and MSWDO representatives from Tubod, Lanao del Norte, providing guidance and knowledge to all attendees.

Overall, the symposium was informative and beneficial, encouraging student participation and raising awareness about safety and violence prevention.
