𝑺𝑬𝑷𝑻𝑬𝑴𝑩𝑬𝑹 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔—Tubod College kicks off two-day Institutional Research and Development Agenda Updating Workshop with DOST Northern Mindanao

 

Tubod College’s Research, Extension, and Innovation Office conducted the first-day event of the two-day Institutional Research and Development Agenda Updating Workshop this morning, September 16, at the Old Sangguniang Bayan Hall in Brgy. Poblacion, Tubod Municipal Hall Compound.

 

The event was opened with warm welcome remarks from Dr. Cherry Marie C. Paclipan. This activity is made possible with the assistance of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Northern Mindanao.

 

The participants have undergone a series of agenda on Day 1, which include mapping important partners and stakeholders, assessing the college’s current research capacity, identifying local development gaps, and understanding community and industry needs. The resource persons are from MSU-IIT, DOST Northern Mindanao, DOST Lanao del Norte, LGU Tubod, and DTI Lanao del Norte to ensure the college’s research agenda is both community-focused and responsive to local needs.

 

This activity is a significant step for Tubod College towards producing a more relevant and responsive research agenda for the locality while addressing community and industry needs. With the assistance of DOST Northern Mindanao, the college is expected to achieve its vision of conducting research works that contribute to the development of the people in Tubod and the region.
