The GEC Department serves as an important foundation of the college's academic programs by providing interdisciplinary courses that connect students' personal experiences, Philippine realities, cultural heritage, scientific and technological developments, global issues, and ethical responsibilities.

Welcome Message of the Program Head
Welcome to the General Education Curriculum (GEC) of Tubod College! It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I extend my warmest greetings to all our students, faculty members, and members of the academic community. The GEC serves as an important foundation in developing knowledgeable, responsible, and well-rounded individuals who are prepared to face the challenges of both academic and professional life.
Through the General Education Curriculum, we aim to provide students with meaningful learning experiences that strengthen their critical thinking, communication, creativity, values, and understanding of the world around them. Beyond academic knowledge, we encourage our students to develop positive attitudes, strong character, and a sense of responsibility that will guide them throughout their personal and professional journey.
As you begin or continue your academic journey, I encourage you to take advantage of every opportunity to learn, participate, collaborate, and grow. Do not be afraid to ask questions, explore new ideas, and challenge yourself to become better each day. Remember that education is not only about achieving good grades, but also about developing the knowledge, skills, and values that will enable you to make a meaningful contribution to your family, community, and society.
Once again, welcome to the General Education Curriculum of Tubod College. May your journey be filled with learning, discovery, meaningful experiences, and success. Together, let us build an academic community that values excellence, integrity, inclusivity, and lifelong learning. I look forward to seeing each of you reach your full potential and become competent and responsible individuals who will make a positive difference in the world.
